We need your help in identifying our classmates who deserve special recognition for their dedicated contribution in defense of our country. Please help us identify our classmates who served in the military or were married to military personnel. We know many more of you have served in defense of our country but we do not know who you are yet so please forgive us for not listing you here yet and please let us know so we can add you to our list. Please tell us a little about the service time such as time frame, branch of service, and locations especially those of you who served in Vietnam. Special Tribute to Vietnam Veterans

	John B. Echols United States Army Served as a helicopter gunship commander for 2 and 1/2 tours in Vietnam surviving two downings.

	Patrick Ryan Harrison PhD United States Navy Served two tours as part of River Assault Flotilla One in Vietnam between 1965 and 1970 Received a presidential unit citation, a Navy unit citation, a Combat Action Ribbon, a letter of commendation from the Secretary or the Navy and various Vietnam service medals. Served as Chairman of the Computer Science Department at the United States Naval Academy for more than 25 years.

	Gary D. Kauffman United States Air Force He was a 20 year Air Force veteran having served inVietnam. He was awarded a Bronze star with V for Valor because of his heroism while under enemy fire. In addition to Vietnam, he served twice in Germany, Texas, Langley AFB Virginia, and Minot, ND. For most of his 20 year career he was an aircraft maintenance superintendent.
