Mrs. Shirley J. Finnell,
30, of 315
Summitview Dr.,
died Thursday at 4: 25 p.m. in Lancaster – Fairfield County Hospital. She
was employed as secretary for several years by former Mayor William Burt.
Survivors include her husband, Donald G. Finnell; a daughter, Cheryl
Lynn, and son, Donald G. Jr., both of the home; a brother, Richard Ricketts,
Lancaster; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Linda) Wilkinson., Rossford, O., and
Mrs. Preston L. (Sharon) Rhymer, Lancaster; nieces and nephews; mother, Mrs.
Iva Woods, Lancaster; and father, Elmer L. Ricketts, Lancaster.
Services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Frank E.
Smith Funeral Home with John Boice of Jehovah Witnesses officiating; burial
in Stuckey Cemetery. Friends may call at Smith’s after 7 p.m. today and all
day on Saturday.
