Michael F. Purcell, 54,
passed away Saturday, 28, 1996, at his residence.
He was a member of
Bremen United Methodist Church and an employed by Ralston Foods. He
formerly was employed by Western Electric and Bremen Police Department and
was a member of the Bremen Water Department board.
He is survive by
his wife of 31 years, Karen Purcell; son and daughter-in-law, Michael II and
Michelle Purcell of Lancaster; parents, Francis and Virginia Purcell of
Lancaster; sister, Marcia Souders of Lancaster; brothers and sisters-in-law,
Larry and Ann Purcell, Tim and June Purcell, and Tom and Alejandra Purcell,
all of Lancaster; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service
will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, with
the Rev. Dana G. Hakes officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery,
Bremen.
Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests
contributions be made in his memory to the Bremen United Methodist Church
furnace fund.
