William (Bud) Prevost

William "Bud" Prevost, 63, of Columbus, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 15,
2006, at his residence.
He was a retired supervisor for Lucent Technologies
with 34 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Medley Prevost;
daughter, Julie Ann Havermann of Yorktown, Va.; two grandchildren, Eric
Christian Havermann and Ryan Cloyce Havermann, both of Yorktown, Va.;
mother, Eileen Prevost of Lancaster; stepson, Duane (Songa) Long of Dallas,
Texas; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Captain Mark W.
Prevost; father, William C. Prevost; brother, Thomas A. Prevost; and
grandparents, Louella and Clarence Tipple and Ava and William Prevost.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel,
Lancaster, Ohio, with the Rev. Larry Brown of First United Methodist Church
officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may
visit from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to
the American Cancer Society, 649 E. Main St., Lancaster, OH 43130.
