Gary D. Kauffman, 61, Lancaster, passed
away Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
He retired after 30 years from AT&T and Lucent. He was a U.S. Air
Force veteran, a member and past master of Masonic Lodge 57 F&AM, a member
of Fifth Avenue Church of Christ, and a friend and neighbor to all who met
him.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl (Brady) Kauffman,
Lancaster; mother, Mary Nelle (Richard) Funk, Lancaster; son, David E. (Beth
Anne Rice) Kauffman, Hilliard; daughters, Julie Lynn Kauffman, Lancaster;
and Laurie A. Kauffman, Pickerington; granddaughters, Sarah Anne and Mary
Elizabeth Kauffman, Hilliard; sister, Barbara (Paul) Anderson, Lancaster;
and three stepbrothers.
He was preceded in death by his father, D. Emery Kauffman.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Halteman-Fett and
Dyer Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Rice officiating. Burial ill
follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with the Lancaster Veterans Burial
Detail performing military graveside services. Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Masonic
services will be held at 6p.m. with Masonic Lodge 57 F&AM.

2655 West National Rodad, Springfield 45504.
