     Ron Irvin, 55, Lancaster, died Wednesday, Feb 25, 1998, at Fairfield Medical Center.
     He was a machine operator for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp, with 38 years service.  He was a member of AFGWU No. 144 and Harley Owners’ Group.
     He is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, Dan Irvin and Jeff Irvin; daughter, Michelle Irvin, all of Lancaster; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Brady of Lancaster and Joyce Mitchell of Lorain; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Terry and Teresa Garner of Pickerington; four grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; two sisters and brother in law, Jeanie Botts and Karen and Jim Taley, all of Lancaster; and many nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wayne and Eileen Irvin.
     Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Lancaster, with Pastor Melvin Truex of Faith Memorial Church officiating.  Burial will follow in maple Grove Cemetery.
     Friends may visit today until time of service at the funeral home.
