Ray Griffith (born Ronnie Bobbitt), 55, passed away Friday, April 24, 1998, at his residence after a long illness.
           He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1960.
           He is survived by his birth mother, Mona (John) Burgoon; sisters, Becky (Ray) Sells, Robin Ratcliff and Marlene (Ed) Dye; brother, Kenneth Bobbitt; and nieces and nephews.
           He is preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Howard Ray and Margaret Griffith.
           A gathering in Ray’s memory for family and friends will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at 308 Lewis Ave., Lancaster.  The family may be contacted at 687-6143.
