Larry
S. Cattran, 62, of Carroll, passed peacefully from this world into the
loving arms of his personal Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, July 3, 2004,
at his residence.
He retired
from Diamond Power Specialty Co. after 32 years as a buyer and currently
worked with his sons at Local Waste Services. He was a member of Gloryland
Church of the Nazarene, where he was a Sunday school teacher, a board member
and headed the Men's Ministry. He was a member of the Gloryland Quartet and
was named the 2003-04 Layman of the Year of the Central Ohio District Church
of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ulko
Cattran;
daughter, Kimberly Cattran
of Lancaster; sons and daughters-in-law,
Larry
"Chuck" and Lisa Cattran
and Richard and Carisa
Cattran, all of Carroll;
grandchildren, Amber, Cecelia, Megan, Preston, Justin, Courtney and Chase;
sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Fred Bougher of Lancaster;
sister-in-law, Carolyn
Cattran of Lancaster; nieces,
nephews, cousins and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles
"Chick" and Eileen Cattran;
brother, Richard "Dick"
Cattran; grandparents,
Florence and Ernest Scott; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Genevieve
and Edward Ulko.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at
Gloryland Church of the Nazarene, 3570 Coonpath Road, with Pastor Mark
Clingan officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Rose Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster, and one hour prior to the
service Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be given to Gloryland Church,
P.O. Box 2554, Lancaster 43130, in
Larry's
memory.
