Bonnie L. Boyer, 67 of Lancaster passed away surrounded by her family and friends at the Pickering House on Monday February 9, 2009. She was born on November 12, 1941 in Lancaster. Bonnie worked at Kroger’s for over 25 years retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Lancaster Community Church, Lancaster and a tutor at the West School after school program.
Bonnie is survived by her children Scott (Sheila) Hommel of Lancaster, Theresa (Dwayne Beavers) Waits; mother Evelyn (Charles) Heisa of Circleville; grandchildren: Sean Heise, Ashley Heisa, Brandon Beavers, Ryan Hommel, Tyler Neff, Chris Green; great granddaughter Jasmine; brother Bob Azbell. Her father Earl Azbell preceded her in death.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00AM Friday February 13, 2008 at the Lancaster Community Church with Rev. David Dupler. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the staff’s at the Fairfield Medical Center, the Pickering House, Heartland-Fairfield and her many friends for helping Bonnie get thru her Battle with Cancer.
