About These Pages and Help Rationale: Some of your classmates thought it would be a good idea to have a dedicated web site for the Lancaster Ohio Class of 1960 to assist members reminisce and keep in touch with old friends and classmates. Content: Initial content was based on review of existing class websites and is very open to suggestions to suite the needs of all of our classmates. The site is very flexible and new content can be added, revised, and updated very easily but we need your feedback and assistance in providing content and recommended changes. Format: Majority of the pages are in HyperText Markup Language (HTML) with numerous images in Joint Photographic Group (JPG) format. Most web browsers can easily read HTML and JPG Formats. Copies of documents such as the Mirage Yearbook pages were scanned into Portable Document Format (PDF) at 200 dots per inch and saved in medium quality. A PDF Reader is required to read the PDF files and is available free from ADOBE. Pages were designed around display settings of 1024 by 768 pixels. Although width percentages instead of actual pixels were used to set up images on the pages, the pages may display differently when display settings other than 1024 by 768 are used. Although we attempt to use an appropriate mix between size and quality of the images and time it takes to download the pages, we are using a broadband or cable internet connection so we have no way of knowing if our classmates are having difficulty downloading the images unless we receive your feedback. HELP: Feel free to contact Carol.Carroll@LHS60.net with any questions, comments, feedback, recommended content or recommended changes. Contact Information: Access to contact information is restricted by userid and password to LHS schoolmates and selected friends in an effort to protect your privacy. You must contact us to obtain access and we will provide the userid and password. Contact information for those classmates wishing to make their information readily available to classmates without the userid and password must contact us and let us know their preference. Deceased and Missing classmates are listed in the public area along with those that have provide permission to make the information public. Original baseline for contact information is the LHS Alumni 2000 Directory. We make an effort to verify the contact information using 411.com and addresses.com but your help in letting us know if we have your correct information would be appreciated. We are still building this area so check back frequently as we continue to build a page for every classmate.
